Experience the best Virginia wines by visiting six Piedmont wineries within a short drive from James Madison's home. Begin your Montpelier Wine Weekend with a tasting and a dinner at the award-winning Palladio Restaurant at Barboursville Vineyards where Chef Melissa Close was recently selected as a finalist for the James Beard Award. Dine Saturday night at the acclaimed restaurant at The Inn at Meander Plantation. Stay in a luxurious B&B and spend the next two days in leisurely drives through rolling hills and back roads to sample some of the best Virginia wines.
Your package includes a 3-day, 2-night stay at the Inn on Poplar Hill, wine tastings, 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, admission to Montpelier, 10% of the Museum Shop, and a Montpelier gift bag.

SUNDAY - Morning

COST/SINGLE: $595 | COST/DOUBLE: $835
Reservation: Must be booked at least 4 weeks in advance of Excursion check-in date.
Deposit: 50% of Excursion cost at the time of reservation. Balance paid at check-out.
Cancellation Policy: Deposit is non-refundable. However if cancellation is made 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date the Excursion may be moved to the next mutually available date with Montpelier and your B&B and the Restaurants. If rescheduling is not possible the deposit will be forfeited.
